Republic Day Celebration: Grand show of patriotism and pride

Apeejay School, Saket, is one such institute that celebrated Republic Day with grandeur on January 25, 2024. The celebration was a vibrant testament to patriotism and national pride, engaging students in a variety of activities that reflected these themes. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Col Gurdeep Singh, SM, VSM, adding a layer of distinction to the festivities. The primary school students initiated the event with a warm welcome, setting a hospitable tone.

The event began with the hoisting of the tricolour flag, imbuing the atmosphere with patriotic zeal, further magnified by a stirring rendition of the National Anthem. This moment captured the spirit of unity and pride that defines our nation. Col Singh received a warm welcome and was presented with a special memento, a symbol of the school’s appreciation for his contributions and inspirational presence.

Dr Sujeet Eric Masih, Principal, Apeejay School, Saket formally welcomed the chief guest, delivering an address that paved the way for an inspiring and engaging day ahead. The cultural programme featured a medley of patriotic songs, enriching the air with melodies that reflected the day’s significance.

Col Gurdeep Singh then took the stage, delivering a powerful speech that urged students to contribute actively to the nation’s progress. His words left a lasting impression, fostering a deep sense of duty and patriotism among the students. A highlight of the event was the patriotic dance performance by students, a captivating display of elegance and expression that vividly brought the spirit of Republic Day to life.
