Professor from Jalandhar carving his name in the field of sculpting  

Head of Department of Sculpture at Apeejay College of Fine Arts (ACFA) in Jalandhar, Dr. Mohinder Kumar Mastana, has made the institute proud as he bagged a series of recognition and honour from various institutions of high repute for his unprecedented contribution in the field of sculpting. 

Further, his work has been making wonders. Recently, Dr Mohinder’s name is included in a calendar, released by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector in collaboration with creARTors collective, Mumbai, for acknowledging best works in the area of creative art. Expressing his view he said, “My design was chosen among the 1000 entries that came from all over India. My name is part of the calendar, released by the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector in collaboration with creARTors collective. I am glad to have won this recognition.”

Only 12 names could make it to the final calendar, whereby sculptures of Dr. Mohinder Kumar Mastana were showcased. In addition to this, the Apeejay professor has received a gold medal for his finest work of sculpture in an online art exhibition, organised by Awake Art, Prayagraj, Rajasthan. Dr. Neerja Dhingra, Principal at ACFA, expressed her happiness over Dr. Mastana’s extraordinary achievements, and wished him good luck for his future endeavours.
