PM Modi’s ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ announced for 2024

The Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan, has officially launched the application process for the seventh installment of Pariksha Pe Charcha. To take part in the activities associated with it, students must initiate their applications on the official website innovateindia.mygov.in/ppc-2024/.

The deadline for students to participate in the competition is January 12, 2024. The competition is open to school students ranging from classes VI to XII, who can engage through ‘self-participation’ and ‘teacher login.’ Notably, teachers and parents have their dedicated login portals.

The Prime Minister is set to engage with parents and teachers on various aspects, including Board exams, students’ goals, and aspirations. Students can pose questions to the Prime Minister within a limit of 500 characters. Parents and teachers are also encouraged to participate and submit their entries in online activities tailored exclusively for them.

About 2,050 students, teachers, and parents selected through competitions on MyGov will receive PPC Kits courtesy of the Ministry of Education.

Last year, Pariksha Pe Charcha took place on January 27 at New Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium. In 2023, the sixth edition witnessed over 38 lakh student registrations, with more than 16 lakh hailing from state Boards. The Education Minister reported a notable increase of over 15 lakh registrations compared to the previous year.
