How did your experience at Apeejay School of Management shape your personality?
Over the last two years, the institute played a major role in shaping my personality. One of the most impactful aspects was the personality development classes. These sessions helped me prepare for interviews and present myself better. Earlier, I used to hesitate while speaking, but consistent practice and guidance made a noticeable difference.
What key skills did you develop during your time at ASM?
Communication was a big area of growth for me. I struggled with hesitation while talking to people, but the institute organised various activities that pushed me to step out of my comfort zone. These activities improved not just my speaking skills but also my pronunciation and overall confidence.
Were you involved in any clubs or extracurricular activities?
Yes, I was actively involved in finance and marketing clubs, as these were my areas of specialisation. These clubs regularly conducted different activities that helped enhance our practical understanding and communication skills. Being part of these clubs gave me multiple opportunities to interact, present, and grow.
Do you recall any activity that significantly boosted your confidence?
One activity that really stood out was extempore speaking. It challenged me to think and speak on the spot, which gradually built my confidence. Over time, I became more comfortable expressing my thoughts in front of others.Can you share a real-world experience that helped you grow professionally?
A particularly memorable experience was working on a project with ITC Limited. I had to visit different wholesalers and interact with people from diverse backgrounds. It was my first experience engaging with such varied segments. This exposure taught me how to approach people, communicate effectively, and handle real-world business situations. It was incredibly beneficial for my professional growth.
