The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has announced the provisional seat allotment results for the first round of NEET UG Counselling 2024. Candidates who successfully cleared the NEET UG exam can now check their allotment status by visiting the official MCC website at mcc.nic.in. To access the results, students should navigate to the UG Medical Counselling section and click on the link titled “Provisional Result of Round 1 NEET UG 2024.” After checking their allotment, it is advisable to download and print the result for future reference.
Students who have been allotted seats in this round must report to their designated colleges for the document verification process, a critical step in finalising their admissions. The document verification process is crucial to ensure that all admissions are legitimate and that all seats are filled as per the regulations.
Candidates are required to bring the necessary documents to their allotted colleges. These include the allotment letter, NEET UG admit card, birth certificate (if the date of birth is not mentioned in the matriculation certificate), and class 10 and 12 mark sheets.
Additionally, candidates should bring passport-sized photographs identical to the ones submitted with the application form, and proof of identity, such as an Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, or passport. Those belonging to specific categories must also bring relevant certificates, such as the SC/ST certificate, OBC-NCL certificate, disability certificate, or EWS certificate, if applicable.
As each college may have specific documentation requirements, candidates are advised to review the guidelines provided by their allotted institutions. NEET UG 2024 will have a total of four counselling rounds, covering 15 per cent of All India Quota seats, including those in central universities, AIIMS, JIPMER, and other medical institutions nationwide.
