At Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park two incredibly talented sisters, Samaira and Ashrita Mulchandani, are doing wonders with their diverse talents and entrepreneurial spirit. Their journey is a testament to the power of passion, creativity, and hard work.
Samaira, a Class 12 student, has already established herself as a remarkable young author with four published books from poetry to short stories and more. Her work reflects her deep connection to the art of creative writing. As a singer of opera, she has found her voice in the world of music, where she passionately explores the complexities of vocal performance. Samaira believes that writing and music are intertwined, each an art form that requires dedication, imagination, and a love for expression.
Her younger sister, Ashrita, a Class 8 student, is equally impressive with her vast range of talents. Not only is she an illustrator for Samaira’s books, bringing her sister’s words to life through vivid visuals, but Ashrita is also a budding entrepreneur. She runs a successful resin art business, which has gained significant attention, especially after her stall at the Winter Carnival Minerva. Her unique creations, from coasters to key chains captured the interest of many, cementing her reputation as a creative businesswoman.
Ashrita’s talents don’t stop there. She has a flair for cooking, which she showcased brilliantly at the IIHM Junior cooking competition, where she earned accolades for her innovative culinary skills and signature dish ‘Lassi Kebab’. Cooking, to Ashrita, is not just about following recipes but infusing each dish with creativity and passion. Her ability to juggle such diverse interests while maintaining a focus on excellence is truly remarkable.
The Mulchandani sisters are a perfect example of how passion and creativity can fuel multiple pursuits. Their ability to excel in various fields, from literature and art to business and cooking, serves as an inspiration to their peers and a reminder of the importance of nurturing one’s diverse talents.
