MCC revises 2025–26 NEET PG counselling schedule

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a revised timetable for Round 2 of the 2025–26 NEET PG counselling under the 50% All-India Quota for MD/MS/PG Diploma seats. Candidates must register between December 5 to 9, 2025. Online payment and registration must be completed by 9 December. Choice filling and locking will be open from December 6 to 9.

The allotment process will proceed over December 10–11, with the seat-allocation result scheduled for December 12. The allotment outcome will be published online, after which admitted candidates must report in person at the allocated institutions between December 13 and 21, to confirm their seats.

In parallel, participating institutes are required to review and verify the tentative seat-matrix by December 5, to ensure accurate seat availability for Round 2. The round will reflect an updated seat matrix incorporating the addition of 239 PG seats at deemed universities, sanctioned by the National Medical Commission (NMC).

At the same time, a total of 235 seats under the National Board of Examinations (NBE), 186 from government-run programmes and 49 from private institutes, have been removed from the pool.

Candidates are advised to download and carefully review the updated seat matrix from the official MCC website (mcc.nic.in) before registering. During registration, they will need to provide details including MBBS qualification certificate, internship completion certificate, NEET PG 2025 score and rank, and category certificate (if applicable).

Late submissions, whether for registration, payment, or choice locking, may result in exclusion from Round 2. As such, candidates are encouraged to complete all steps within the prescribed time frame to remain eligible under the revised schedule.
