Little feet, big finish lines 

Age proved to be no limitation as young runners from Apeejay School, Model Town, Jalandhar stepped up with confidence, grit, and infectious enthusiasm at Daud Jalandhar Daud 4.0, an AIMS-certified annual running event held in Jalandhar. Showcasing exceptional determination and spirit, Sana Kakar (13 years)Nekfateh (8 years), and the youngest participant, Gaurisha Kakar (5 years), completed the 5 km timed run, setting an inspiring example of early-age fitness and perseverance.

With every stride, the students reflected the core values of discipline, resilience, and self-belief; values nurtured within the Apeejay School ethos. Despite their young age, the runners displayed remarkable focus and stamina, finishing the race with high energy and radiant smiles, cheered on by spectators and fellow participants alike. Their participation highlighted how passion, when guided well, can empower even the youngest to take on meaningful challenges.

Daud Jalandhar Daud 4.0-One Race, Human Race is much more than a competitive running event. Known for its inclusive spirit, the marathon brings together thousands of participants across 5K, 10K, and 21.1K timed categories, celebrating fitness alongside important social values. The event actively promotes community bonding, respect for women, social responsibility, and a culture of healthy living, all wrapped in the vibrant energy and warmth of Punjab.

Adding another feather to their cap, Sana Kakar, Gaurisha Kakar, and Nekfateh were also part of the Raftaar de Soorme-Promo Run, a special initiative designed to build excitement for an upcoming large-scale running event. Their participation in the promo run further showcased their growing commitment to fitness and community-driven initiatives. 

The inspiring performance of these young Apeejay students reaffirmed that age is truly no barrier when determination leads the way. Daud Jalandhar stood as a powerful reminder that running is not just about speed or endurance; it is a movement that celebrates health, unity, and collective pride.

The annual running event was not just a race but a celebration of the human spirit, where young hearts ran with purpose and passion.
