Little champions in action

The campus of Apeejay Svran Global School, Sector 21-D, Faridabad, came alive with colour, cheer, and boundless enthusiasm as it hosted its much-awaited Pre-Primary Sports Event. The grounds sparkled with excitement as young learners stepped forward with radiant smiles and eager spirits, ready to participate in a day dedicated to fun, fitness, and teamwork.

The celebration commenced on an energetic note with a lively aerobics session. Set to upbeat music, the children moved in rhythm, filling the air with laughter and positivity. Their coordinated steps and infectious energy created a vibrant atmosphere, setting the perfect tone for the day’s activities.

The nursery students impressed everyone with their spirited participation in the Clean Up Race and the Making a Tower race. These thoughtfully designed activities not only encouraged physical movement but also instilled important values such as responsibility, coordination, and teamwork. Watching the little ones enthusiastically complete their tasks was truly heartwarming.

The junior KG children added charm and excitement to the event with the delightful Rabbit Race and the imaginative Getting Ready race. Hopping confidently like little rabbits and showcasing independence while dressing up, the young participants demonstrated growing self-assurance and agility. Their joyful participation drew applause and appreciation from teachers and parents alike.

The senior KG students showcased admirable confidence and skill in the hurdle flower race, displaying impressive agility and focus. In the Get Ready for School race, they highlighted their sense of responsibility and readiness, completing each step with determination and pride. Their performance reflected not only physical strength but also maturity and discipline.

Beyond the races and activities, the event stood as a celebration of confidence, camaraderie, and joyful learning. It was a day where participation mattered more than winning, and every child emerged a champion in spirit. The smiles, cheers, and encouraging applause created memories that will be cherished by students, teachers, and parents alike.

Events like these play a vital role in a child’s holistic development. Sports activities at an early age nurture physical fitness, improve coordination and balance, and build self-confidence. They teach children the value of teamwork, perseverance, and healthy competition. More importantly, such celebrations foster a positive school environment where children feel motivated, supported, and celebrated. The Pre-primary Sports Event was not just a display of energy; it was a meaningful step towards shaping confident, happy, and well-rounded individuals.
