Recently, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, opened its doors to a unique cultural experience as the Korean Cultural Center India (KCCI) brought its captivating ‘Storytelling Program’ to the school. Under the banner of their ‘Indian School Project,’ KCCI presented the play Faithful Daughter Sim Cheong to students of classes VI and VII.
The event centred on the poignant story of Sim Cheong, a devoted daughter whose actions underline the virtues of morality, love, and sacrifice. The play captured the hearts of the young audience as it unfolded themes of familial bonds, particularly the touching relationship between a father and daughter.
The engaging stage depictions of the village, sea, pirates, king, and the bond between Sim Cheong and her father added an enchanting visual element. Each performance, executed with precision, brought the story to life, leaving the audience spellbound.
Appreciation for Artistic Excellence
The event was graced by Ms Mouchumi, the KCCI Coordinator, whose contributions to organising this cultural exchange were lauded.
