
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the schedule for JEE Mains 2025 Session 2, which will be conducted from April 2 to April 9 in online mode. The detailed schedule has been published on the official website, nta.nic.in.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 2 Exam Schedule
The B.E./B.Tech Paper 1 will be conducted on April 2, 3, 4, and 7, with two shifts each day: the morning shift from 9 AM to 12 PM and the afternoon shift from 3 PM to 6 PM. The architecture exam, which includes the drawing test, will be held on April 9, with the drawing test being conducted in offline mode.
The exam will be held across various centers nationwide and in 15 international cities, ensuring accessibility for all registered candidates.
JEE Mains 2025 Session 1 Highlights
In the first session of JEE Mains 2025, 12,58,136 candidates (95.93%) appeared out of 13,11,544 registered candidates. NTA dropped 12 questions and released the final answer key on February 10. The exam was conducted in 13 languages, ensuring inclusivity. However, the scores of 39 candidates were withheld due to unfair practices.
Sai Manogna Guthikonda from Andhra Pradesh emerged as the only female topper, while Rajasthan had the most top scorers.
Admission Process Post JEE Mains
Candidates clearing JEE Mains 2025 will be eligible for admission to NITs, IIITs, GFTIs, and other institutes through the JoSAA counselling process. Additionally, the top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify for JEE Advanced 2025, opening pathways to IIT admissions.
