‘I love to write articles on exam stress’

Sana Kakar, a student with Apeejay School, Model Town, is a fabulous writer with article writing being her major strength. She loves to read a lot with Sudha Murty and Enid Blyton being her favourite writers. Selected as the promising writer for this week, Sana lets us in her world of words and themes via this interview. Read edited excerpts:

Since when did you start writing Sana?

Last year itself I picked up the pen . I was 11 years old then.

And what inspires you to write?

My teacher Maninder ma’am, once gave me an article topic to write on as part of my homework and she motivated me that I was good in writing skills so I must develop it further . So, I sent her an article on the same and the journey began.

Why do you like articles the most?

I read Sudha Murty and Enid Blyton books and I loved their writing style. The way they made a bond with the reader was fabulous. I thought that article would be the best medium for me to connect with the reader, so I chose it.

How much time does it take you to write an article?

One hour or two hours at most. Time flies by as I write.

And your favourite themes to write on?

Exam stress!  We all students are facing it, so I write articles on the same as more students connect with it.

Finally, how is your school motivating you?

Maninder ma’am sends me articles for publication to Apeejay Newsroom website.  It is a big boost of confidence. Also my mother Ms Jyotsna Kakar inspires me so much.
