
A student profits when the Guru or teacher helps them grow in the right direction. A teacher must encourage the student to understand themselves, make sense of their abilities and talents and know their calling in life. However, in order to teach well, the teacher must refill their cup of knowledge from time to time.
Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park teachers understand this necessity. Hence, the school was represented by teachers across all departments in a recently held workshop in accordance with National Curriculum Framework (NCF) guidelines.
A workshop on dissemination of learning competencies was conducted by PARAKH (Performance Assessment, Review, and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Development) at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It was attended by over 100 teachers from across the state. Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park teachers formed a key share of the participants.
The workshop started with key highlights of National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the NCF. It focused on the Importance of assessing competencies at the foundational, preparatory, middle and secondary levels of schooling and the same could be used to improve student learning.
The workshop included a long list of hands-on activities in which teachers developed presentations on designing the curriculum with new learning standards and curricular goals.
