My mom also does lots of things to make me happy. Every morning, my mom wakes me up with a big smile. She helps me get ready for school. She makes sure I brush my teeth and wear my school uniform. Then, she packs my favourite lunch and sometimes puts a little note inside that says, “I love you!” or “Have a great day!” These notes make me feel so special.
When I come back from school, my mom is there to ask me how my day was. I tell her all about what I learned and the games I played with my friends. She listens to me and smiles a lot. Sometimes, we make a snack together in the kitchen. It’s fun because we talk and laugh a lot.
My mom also helps me with my homework. If I don’t know how to do something, she helps me understand it. She is very smart and knows a lot of things. I feel happy when I learn new things from her. On weekends, we do fun things together. We go to the park, play on the swings, and sometimes we go for ice cream.
When I am scared or sad, my mom is always there to hug me and tell me everything will be okay. One time, I fell down and hurt my knee, and it was bleeding. My mom cleaned it and put a bandage on it. She kissed it and hugged me until I felt better. Her hugs are warm and make me feel safe.
At night, my mom reads me a story before bed. Then, she tucks me in, gives me a kiss on the forehead, and says goodnight. I sleep well because I know my mom is there with me.
My mom teaches me to be kind and honest. She tells me that being nice to others is important. I try to be like her because she is good and kind to everyone. She says, “Treat others like you want to be treated.” I think that’s a good rule.
I love my mom more than anything. She is my best friend. We do everything together, and she makes every day special. I feel lucky to be her kid because she loves me so much. I can tell because she always shows me in so many ways, every single day.
I know my mom will always be there for me. We have a special bond that nobody can break. It’s because we love each other so much. I want to make her proud and happy, just like she makes me.
