Apeejay Stya University (ASU), Gurugram recently organised the two-day event, which saw participation from various schools and colleges. We, students of Apeejay Institute of Mass Communication (AIMC), also got the golden opportunity to be part of the most-awaited cultural fest Elaan 2023.
Elaan was not just a cultural fest, it was a mega celebration with fun-filled activities and creativity at its best. The event offered a plethora of competitions to the students to explore and showcase their talents.
We reached the ASU campus during the inaugural of the event and got the opportunity to be part of it. After exploring the campus and various stalls, we were mesmerised by the beauty and aura of the Apeejay Stya University.
Further, the chief guest addressed the event, and the enthusiasm of students was the major attraction of the day.
As we know, learning combines both theoretical and practical aspects, and for holistic development of an individual, learning experiences that take place outside the classroom’s walls have a range of benefits. Elaan offered that experience to us! It provided us a grand platform for networking as well as learning the crucial lessons of life.
The event had various contest lined up such as solo singing (Indian/ Western), (Indian/ western) instrumental, solo dance, group dance, debate, elocution, pharma quiz, experiential learning with nature, nukkad natak, mimicry, rangoli and heena making competition, comic art, creative photography , insta reel and short film, among others.
The ASU campus was vibrating with the colours of rangoli all around. It was also lovely to see the students applying heena to their peers for the contest. No fest is complete without food and beverages. We enjoyed a full course meal and munched different snacks during the event.
The showstopper of the event was a star performer, Mr. Anadi Mishra, who showcased a live music concert and set the stage on fire with his mesmerising performance.
We are grateful to our mentors for providing us with such valuable experience. It was a pleasure to be part of such a lively event. We are looking forward to attending more such events in future.
