Apeejay Svran Global School organised an insightful Education Connect Session for the Foundational Stage creating a warm and interactive space for parents to understand the school’s joyful, play-based, and experiential learning approach. Designed to deepen parental engagement, the session emphasised how the early years lay the groundwork for lifelong curiosity, confidence, and holistic development.
A Morning of Warmth, Reflection and Learning
The event began on a serene note with a heartfelt prayer, inviting everyone into a positive and reflective frame of mind. This simple opening set the tone for a morning dedicated to learning, understanding and meaningful collaboration between parents and educators. It reminded families that education in the foundational years is not only about academics but also about nurturing emotional balance and inner calm.
Hands-On Demonstrations Bring NEP 2020 to Life
Teachers led engaging demonstrations in blending sounds, English, and Environmental Education—giving parents a first-hand experience of how abstract concepts are made tangible for young learners. These hands-on activities showcased how Apeejay Svran Global School aligns its pedagogy with NEP 2020 and the NCF–FS 2022, emphasising conceptual clarity, multisensory exploration, and joyful discovery.
By watching these interactive sessions, parents could clearly see how children learn through stories, play, visual cues, and structured routines. This transparency strengthened trust and highlighted the school’s commitment to ensuring that foundational skills are built gently yet effectively.
Building Emotional Intelligence from the Earliest Years
One of the most meaningful segments of the programme was a dedicated session on nurturing emotionally intelligent, resilient, and confident children. Educators shared practical, everyday strategies—such as active listening, positive reinforcement, and helping children name their emotions.
Parents appreciated the guidance, recognising that emotional intelligence forms the base for social skills, self-expression, and problem-solving later in life. The session reinforced a crucial message: learning in the early years is not confined to books; it is equally about shaping attitudes, values, and emotional wellbeing.
A Celebration of Childhood and Aspirations
To honour the joyful spirit of early childhood, the event concluded with a touching song dedicated to the children—reflecting their innocence, curiosity, and boundless potential. This was followed by a lively dance performance on the theme “Soaring High Is My Nature”, symbolising the aspirations, confidence, and high-flying dreams encouraged at Apeejay Svran Global School.
Strengthening the School–Parent Partnership
Overall, the Education Connect Session proved to be an enriching and collaborative experience. Parents walked away with deeper insights into the school’s teaching practices, values, and child-centric philosophy. The programme reinforced the belief that when schools and families work together, every child’s learning journey becomes more meaningful, supported, and empowering.
