I see myself standing on the top of a mountain
Skimming over the lush green carpet, I’m certain
Stretching high I could feel the vastness of the sky
Hearing the melodious bird songs, I sigh
Just then I see a milky waterfall far in the distance
Algae coated rocks vouch its long existence
The nip in the air is very crisp and moist
Little insects and reptiles feel rejoiced
When the night falls and the stars twinkle
From the top I see the city lights sparkle
The life comes to a still and all is quiet
That’s when the Moon and the Earth sing a duet.
