Delhi University releases simulated rank list for UG

The Delhi University (DU) has released the simulated rank list for undergraduate admissions for the 2024-25 academic year. This list offers a tentative preview of students’ potential placements in courses and colleges based on their CUET (UG) scores and preferences filled during the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) Phase I. Students can access their simulated ranks through the admission dashboard on the DU portal.

It’s important to note that the simulated rank list is not the final allocation. Instead, it serves as a tool to help students evaluate their chances of securing a seat in their desired course and college. Based on this assessment, candidates have the opportunity to modify their preferences. They can add, remove, or reorder their choices until Monday, August 12, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. via the CSAS portal. The first official list of seat allocations will be published on Friday, August 16, 2024.

For students applying to performance-based programmes like BA (H) Music, Bachelor of Fine Arts, BSc Physical Education, Health Education, and Sports, as well as those seeking admission through Extra Curricular Activities (ECA) and sports quotas, trials will begin on August 12. The allocation for these performance-based programs and supernumerary quotas, including CW, PMSSS, Sikkim Nominee, and the DU Ward quota, will commence with the third round of seat allotment.

Delhi University has seen over 2.4 lakh applicants register for the 2024-25 UG admissions, with more than 71,000 seats available across 65-plus colleges through CUET UG. The third phase of the admission process will focus on seat allotment starting August 16, with candidates required to accept their seats by August 18. Colleges will verify and approve admissions by August 20, and the deadline for online fee payment for the first admission round is August 21 at 4:59 p.m.
