The IT and Engineering Club of Apeejay Institute of Management & Engineering Technical Campus (AIMETC), Jalandhar organised an engaging and informative interactive session on Cyber Security in its campus. The event aimed to familiarise students with the growing importance of cyber security and emerging technologies in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Experts from Solitaire Infosys visited the campus as resource persons and shared their industry experience and professional insights with the students. The session attracted enthusiastic participation from students who were keen to understand the challenges and opportunities in the field of cyber security.
During the session, the speakers delivered an insightful talk on the fundamentals of cyber security, emphasising the increasing need to protect digital systems, networks, and sensitive data from cyber threats. They highlighted how organisations across the globe are investing heavily in security technologies to safeguard information and maintain the integrity of digital infrastructure. The experts also explained how technological advancements and the growing dependence on online platforms have made cyber security an essential component of modern business operations.
