CUET UG 2023 results declared; know more  

On July 15, the National Testing Agency (NTA) officially declared the results of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2023. More than 22,000 candidates scored 100 percentile in the said examination.

In an array of tweets, M Jagadesh Kumar, the Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), shared exciting news regarding the outcomes. He revealed that over 1000 students achieved a perfect 100 percentile score in subjects like Accountancy, Biology, Business Studies, Economics, English, History, and Political Science. The NTA will now proceed to provide normalised scores to the 250 universities participating in the examination.

Along with this, Sadhana Parashar, senior director of NTA said, “The performance of every candidate has been evaluated using the equi-percentile method wherein normalised marks of each candidate have been calculated using the percentiles of each group of students in a given session across multiple days for the same subject.”

“A merit list will be prepared by participating universities and organisations. The universities will decide about their individual counselling on the basis of the scorecard of
CUET (UG) – 2023 provided by NTA,” she added.

This year, around 19.2 lakh candidates appeared for CUET UG 2023. A total of 14,99,796 candidates appeared for the examination, of which 11,16,018 appeared for the examination.
