For the same, on July 12, 2024, Apeejay School, Panchsheel Park, hosted its much-anticipated Scholar Badge Ceremony, a significant event celebrating the academic achievements and unwavering dedication of its students.
The ceremony honoured the outstanding performers from classes VI to XI, and highlighted the students’ transformative journeys of learning, growth, and resilience, marking a milestone in their academic careers.
The chief guest for the event was Mr VK Rao, Deputy Labour Commissioner. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture representing the dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in of knowledge.
In his address, Mr Rao lauded the recipients for their outstanding achievements. He emphasised the importance of using one’s success to inspire others and set high standards. His words resonated with the students, encouraging them to be role models for their peers and to continue striving for excellence in all their future endeavors.
This was followed by a stirring performance of the song Believe by the school choir. The song’s uplifting message of self-belief and the boundless potential within each individual set a motivating and hopeful tone for the event. The school choir also performed Shiv Vandana, a devotional tribute to Lord Shiva, invoking blessings and grace. This performance not only enriched the atmosphere but also underscored the importance of cultural values in holistic education.
The Principal of the school, Ms Surabhi Joshi took the stage to extend a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and the proud parents in attendance. In her address, she commended the relentless efforts and perseverance of the students.
She expressed her admiration for their commitment to excellence and encouraged them to continue their pursuit of knowledge with the same zeal and dedication. Her words served as a source of inspiration, urging students to strive for even greater heights in their academic endeavours.
