
On April 22, 2025, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, celebrated Earth Day with great excitement and joy. Pre-primary Wing: Learning through fun activities
The Pre-primary Wing of the school also made a significant contribution to the Earth Day celebrations. The little ones, full of excitement, took part in various nature-themed activities designed just for them.
Nursery students engaged in fingerprinting to create colourful images of the Earth. This activity not only sparked their creativity but also made them feel connected to nature. They were also encouraged to water the plants. The young children watched in wonder as the plants absorbed the water, fostering a sense of care and responsibility.
LKG students used the tear and paste technique to form the Earth’s shape. It was a wonderful way to build their motor skills while teaching them about our planet.
UKG students made paper craft posters with the message of keeping the Earth safe. Their small hands created beautiful artworks that carried powerful messages.
Each of these activities helped instil environmental values in the young learners in a fun, engaging way. The Earth Day celebration at Apeejay School, Tanda Road, was not just a one-day event.
