CBSE live on YouTube for Board exam 2026

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted a live webcast to brief students, teachers, and schools on the guidelines for the upcoming Class 10 and Class 12 Board exams 2026. The session provided a detailed explanation of the Board’s On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, a digital evaluation method aimed at ensuring transparency, accuracy, and faster result processing.

The two-hour webcast streamed live on CBSE’s official YouTube channel. Through this interactive session, the Board sought to clarify exam procedures, answer common queries, and familiarise stakeholders with the digital marking framework that has become an integral part of the evaluation process in recent years.

According to the official schedule, the CBSE Board Exams 2026 will commence on February 17. Class 10 students will begin their examinations with Mathematics (Standard and Basic), one of the major core subjects. Meanwhile, Class 12 students will start with papers including Biotechnology, Entrepreneurship, and Shorthand in both English and Hindi.

The exams will continue for several weeks, with the Class 10 Boards concluding on March 10 and the Class 12 exams ending on April 9, 2026. This year, approximately 46 lakh students have registered to appear for the exams, making it one of the largest national-level assessments in the country. The tests will be conducted across 8,074 exam centres in India and abroad.
