The class X Board exam for Sanskrit was conducted on February 19, 2024. The three-hour duration exam was of total 80 marks, with a total of 18 questions in the paper.
The question paper is divided into four sections:
According to Santosh Desai, HoD, Sanskrit at Apeejay School, Noida, the analysis of this year’s Sanskrit language exam is as follows:
1. This year’s question papers have been made keeping in mind all types of students. The standard of the exam question paper is excellent.
2. If the answers to the questions were given after reading them carefully and understanding them, then the students should not have faced any difficulty.
3. The students were happy. All the questions in the question paper were answered.
4. It was based on the understanding part (communicative), which was based only on the knowledge of grammar. The completely correct answers to questions like pure-incorrect, sentence-formation, question-formation, and speech were based on the knowledge of grammar only.
5. The question paper was as per the syllabus. Practice question papers were given to the students.
6. There was no question that the students had not attempted before.
7. Interpretation of verses, meaning, matching of words, formulation of questions, all these were as per the level of the students.
