Similar to last year, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not release merit lists for classes 10 and 12 due to the current pandemic situation and the changes in the evaluation criteria. “As a special case, the Board will neither declare subject wise 0.1% merit list of students nor issue merit certificates,” the CBSE has said. The last time the Board had announced class 10 and 12 exam toppers was in 2019. In 2019, a total of 97 Class 10 students were in the top three positions while 23 Class 12 students were in the top three positions.
