Nikhil Shukla:
Nikhil Shukla, who scored an impressive 97.2% in Class 7, credits his success to attentive learning. “You just have to listen carefully during class,” he explains, revealing how he secured a perfect 100% in Maths and around 95% in Science. Nikhil balances academics with a love for chess, football, badminton and cricket – though he laughs that he hasn’t participated in any recent events.
As an 8th grader, Nikhil is already settling in. When asked about his future, he beams, “I want to be a scientist. I like Science and Maths, so Science was the right field.” With that kind of passion and a foundation at Apeejay School, Saket, Nikhil’s journey is one to watch.
Vaanya Mundhra:
Scoring 94.8% in Class 7, Vaanya Mundhra felt both celebrated and motivated for her next academic leap. “Everybody was really happy about my score. They praised me a lot,” she recalls. Vaanya attributes her achievement to daily study and conceptual understanding: “I understand the concept and then use it in the exam.”
Outside the classroom, Vaanya channels her creativity through singing and dancing, having taken part in school events in previous years. On her first week as a Class 8 student, she shares, “It’s quite nice – I enjoy time with my new teachers and friends. I’ve been here since KG, so we all know each other really well.” Vaanya’s enduring bond with peers and teachers at Apeejay School, Saket continues to bolster her confidence and drive.
Lira Kshetrimayum:
With 94.7% in Class 7, Lira Kshetrimayum emphasises practice and organization as her winning formula. “I study from books or search for worksheets online and make notes of important questions in a rough notebook,” she explains, detailing how she revises efficiently one day before exams. When probed on her note‑taking strategy, Lira says, “Anything I might forget, I note it down so I can review them during revision.”
Her favorite subjects are English, “because it’s easy,” and Science, “because it’s very interesting.” Although Lira is undecided about her long‑term goals, she indulges in keyboard playing, drawing and reading. Her advice to juniors? “Start with harder subjects first, then move to easier topics.”
