Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, and KPMG Assurance and Consulting Services LLP signed a landmark Agreement of Collaboration, marking a significant step toward strengthening the link between academic excellence and industry practice. The agreement was formally signed by Dr. Rahul Singh, Director of ASM, and Mr. Amit Choudhary, Technical Director at KPMG. This collaboration aims to enrich management education through practical exposure and industry-driven learning. Dr. Rahul Singh shared, “This strategic collaboration between ASM and KPMG—will pave the way for enriched learning, innovation, and mutual institutional growth.”

To commemorate the partnership, Mr. Amit Choudhary conducted an insightful session titled “Building Consulting Competencies for Management Educators.” The session offered a deep dive into real-world consulting practices, strategic problem-solving, and the evolving expectations of the corporate sector. Emphasising the importance of experiential learning, Mr. Choudhary underscored how such collaborations can enhance academic curricula and students’ professional preparedness. He highlighted that teaching methodologies must evolve to begin with conceptual frameworks and real-life problem statements, fostering a problem-solving mindset from the outset. Such an approach shifts the classroom dynamic to a solution-oriented learning process, preparing students to tackle practical business issues with clarity and confidence.

A key highlight was the focus on integrating tools like Google LLM Notebook to break traditional learning barriers and foster innovation. Mr. Choudhary introduced a 3-STEP model — creating a learning map, translating learning outcomes into viable business solutions, and finally, transforming objectives into executable business ideas. This model encourages structured, goal-oriented thinking among students. Mr. Choudhary stressed, “Outcome-oriented curriculum design, aligning learning objectives with measurable outcomes, are the need of the hour. Faculties should encourage transforming learning outcomes into marketable solutions or products, demonstrating real-world relevance.” He also urged faculty members to engage with industry more frequently, ensuring they remain abreast of evolving industry demands and can adapt their pedagogy and syllabi accordingly. Educators can craft more relevant, agile, and impactful learning experiences by integrating insights gained through regular corporate interaction.

To further enhance teaching quality, Mr. Choudhary recommended adopting AI-powered teaching effectiveness tools that allow educators to personalize instruction, monitor learner progress, and systematically improve learning outcomes.

The session concluded with an inspiring message: “Think big and dream bigger.” It emphasised the transformative power of academic-industry synergy in shaping future-ready professionals equipped with both conceptual clarity and practical insight.
