Apeejay Noida Runathon 2024: Over 1100 Runners Embrace Fitness and Fun

Apeejay School, Noida, transformed a quiet national holiday into a day of action with its Runathon 2024, drawing over 1,100 enthusiastic participants. From students to seasoned athletes, the event saw runners of all ages, who came together to celebrate fitness, fun, and community.

The day kicked off at dawn, with participants gathering on the school grounds, excited and eager to begin. A high-energy Zumba warm-up session set the tone, preparing the runners for the upcoming challenge. With four race categories—3KM, 5KM, 10KM, and 16KM—the Runathon was designed to accommodate everyone, from beginners to seasoned athletes.

The race was flagged off by Mr. Ravi Kumar Arora, a local fitness hero known for completing the Ironman Copenhagen challenge. His presence added a boost of motivation for the runners, who took to the track in their event gear, united by a shared passion for health and fitness.

As participants crossed the finish line, they were met with a wave of celebration. Each runner received a participation medal, certificate, and an accessories kit, along with well-deserved refreshments. Special prizes were awarded in each category for both male and female participants. The trophies were presented by  Chief Fire Officer Mr. Pradeep Kumar.

The event was more than just a race—it was a celebration of endurance, community, and the joy of physical activity. From the youngest runners to senior participants, the Runathon embodied the spirit of togetherness, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of commitment to fitness and a healthier lifestyle.
