What motivated you to choose Apeejay School for Kyansh?
We chose Apeejay for Kyansh because it’s not just a school; it’s a family institute for us. My connection with Apeejay goes back to my own schooling days, and it’s where my wife completed her college education. Even my elder son is a student there. Additionally, my mother, Kyansh’s grandmother, pursued her fashion textiles course at Apeejay, further deepening our family ties to the institution. With such a rich history and proximity to our home, Apeejay was the natural choice for Kyansh’s education.
How has the school evolved since your time as a student?
The transformation in Apeejay since my schooling days is remarkable. Technological advancements have revolutionised the learning experience, while the infrastructure has undergone significant enhancements. Especially during the challenging times of the
COVID-19 pandemic, the dedication of the teachers to adapt to online teaching methods was commendable.
Could you share Kyansh’s achievements and involvement in school activities?
Kyansh is a versatile student actively engaged in various extracurricular activities such as recitations, debates, and annual function comparisons. Despite his academic excellence, he also finds time to explore his interests in sports, recently taking up football. His outstanding performance earned him recognition as the school ambassador and academic achiever.
How has Apeejay nurtured Kyansh’s leadership qualities?
Apeejay fosters leadership qualities from an early age. Kyansh’s consistent participation in school events and his ability to communicate effectively showcase the leadership skills instilled by the school.
How does Apeejay maintain communication with parents regarding students’ progress?
Apeejay ensures regular communication with parents, providing updates on students’ progress and performance. My wife maintains close contact with the teachers, facilitating a collaborative environment focused on Kyansh’s academic and personal growth.
Lastly, what influence has Apeejay had on your family’s educational aspirations?
Apeejay has been instrumental in shaping our family’s educational aspirations, emphasising the importance of academic excellence and career opportunities in fields like engineering and medicine. The school’s holistic approach to education aligns with our values, inspiring both Kyansh and his elder brother to strive for excellence.
