Conducted online, the results brought well-deserved recognition to these budding scientists. Here are insights from their journey of excellence.
Aryan Raj Singh – Class 10
“I feel incredibly proud and honoured,” says the class X student on achieving this milestone. Driven by a passion for challenging himself, Aryan participated in VVM to test his knowledge of science and technology. Despite not having a separate study plan, Aryan prepared by aligning his VVM preparation with the school curriculum, revising past concepts, and focusing on science fundamentals.
“My teachers and family were my pillars of support,” he shares, crediting his school for guidance and his parents for motivation. Aryan highlighted the physics section as the most challenging yet rewarding, adding, “The exam taught me the importance of critical thinking and problem-solving.” When asked about his aspirations, Aryan is determined to continue his journey in science, offering advice to peers: “Stay focused, work hard, and believe in yourself.”
Aabhas Sahu – Class 10
This class X student saw the milestone as a confirmation of his hard work and a significant step towards his academic aspirations. His passion for science and technology inspired him to participate in VVM, where he could challenge himself among like-minded peers. Aabhas’ preparation strategy was a structured blend of understanding concepts, revising regularly, and solving mock tests. “I focused on science fundamentals and kept up with current scientific developments,” he reveals.
Aabhas credits his teachers for simplifying complex concepts and his family for ensuring a supportive study environment. Reflecting on the exam, he recalls a particularly intriguing question on space science that required cross-disciplinary thinking. “Persistence is key,” he says, emphasising the importance of breaking down challenging topics into manageable parts. Aspiring to contribute to engineering advancements, Aabhas draws inspiration from Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam and advises students to “stay curious and consistent.
