An evening filled with Christmas magic, compassion, and joy

On December 25, 2025, the serene surroundings of GK-II, M Block, Tikona Park, were transformed into a vibrant wonderland as Apeejay Rhythms KinderworldGK II, celebrated a heart-warming Christmas carnival that truly had everyone buzzing with joy and curiosity. Set amidst the open greens of the park, the carnival unfolded like a festive dream, wrapped in hues of red and white, with cheerful Christmas balloons and enchanting décor instantly spreading magic and warmth.

The visitors were welcomed at the entrance, stood a magnificent Christmas tree, elegantly adorned and glowing with festive charm. This beautifully placed tree emerged as one of the most striking highlights of the event, setting the tone for the magical celebration ahead. As the clock struck noon, the carnival burst into life, continuing non-stop until 8 pm, offering hours of excitement, laughter, and celebration for children and adults alike.

The carnival featured a thoughtfully curated line-up of engaging stalls and activities that kept the festive spirit alive throughout the day. From the whimsical Elfie Selfie Spot, where every photograph captured a memory worth cherishing, to the dazzling Santa’s Sparkle Tattoo Corner, each activity was designed to immerse children in the magic of Christmas.

The laughter of little ones echoed across the park as they joyfully explored the Holly Jolly Twirl Game, tested their coordination at the thrilling North Pole Sequence Track, and enthusiastically attempted the much-loved Reindeer Ring Toss, a game that drew endless attempts and squeals of delight.

Adding to the carnival’s charm were delightful visual treats, a Santa-dressed-up lady roaming around the venue, generously distributing goodies to children, and an awe-inspiring performer towering nearly eight feet tall, who excitedly waved and interacted with young visitors, instantly becoming a crowd favourite.

The presence of multiple food and refreshment stalls ensured that attendees remained warm, energised, and well-fed, making the experience comfortable and enjoyable for all. More so, the excitement was delightful, with attractions such as a jumping swing with a cheerful Mickey Mouse, tiny swings for little ones, colourful candies, and many more surprises that kept children smiling throughout.

One of the most touching moments of the evening was the soft, continuous hum of Christmas carols sung by the Rhythmites and played in the background, filling the air with a sense of innocence and festive nostalgia. What also elevated the celebration was the heartfelt gesture by the dedicated teachers of the kindergarten.

Amid concerns of high AQI levels, the school prioritised the well-being of its students. In the absence of children on stage, the teachers themselves took centre stage, singing Christmas carols with enthusiasm and grace, proudly representing the spirit of the school dressed up in red and white, wearing cute headbands, and bringing in the true festive spirit. Their performance struck an emotional chord with the audience, earning warm applause and heartfelt requests of ‘once more’.

Ms Komal Nathani, Head of the School, said, “A warm and joyful evening to everyone. We have come together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas. While our children were meant to perform, after reviewing the AQI levels, it felt important to place their well-being first. I am deeply thankful to our teachers, who graciously stepped forward and led the celebrations this evening. With hope and optimism, we look forward to next Christmas, when our children will once again take the stage before you. Tonight, we celebrate childhood, our children, and the vibrant spirit of Rhythms Kinderworld. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.”

The event also witnessed meaningful community appreciation, as the Resident Welfare Association (RWA) President of Tikona Park, GK-II, presented the Rhythms team with a green sapling as a token of gratitude, symbolising growth, sustainability, and harmony, along with thoughtful Christmas goodies.

Adding a contemporary touch to the festivities, a digital campaign showcased during the event highlighted why Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld stands out as an exceptional Montessori school, committed to nurturing young minds with care, creativity, and compassion. Further enriching the evening,

Ms Komal Nathani, along with her dedicated team, inaugurated the preview of a newly launched children’s book titled Lia and Lobo’s Rainbow Sky, marking a proud and inspiring moment for the school community.

Ms Pooja Saini, mother of Meera Saini, shared, “The carnival felt incredibly lively. Watching my daughter explore and enjoy herself was truly heartening. Attending such festivals is important, as they help children learn about different celebrations. Spin the Wheel and getting tattoos were definitely her favourites.”

Ms Prerna Mehra, mother of Reeyansh, expressed, “Such events should be organised more often, as they encourage children to learn while engaging joyfully. It was a wonderful experience. Kudos to the Rhythmites for such a lovely initiative.”

A Rhythmite, Lavin Panwar, excitedly said, “I loved the carnival and Santa so much. My favourite game was the North Pole Sequence Track, and I even won a fidget spinner there.”

Rhythmite Samaira happily shared, “I got a Christmas tree, and Santa painted on both my hands. I have never been this happy before and felt very excited throughout the carnival.”

Ms Purnima, mother of Aarohi and Vaideyhi, remarked, “It was such a wonderful and amazing evening. From the theme to the game stalls and the overall vibe, everything was absolutely perfect; truly a 10/10 experience.”

The Christmas Carnival at Apeejay Rhythms Kinderworld, GK II, was far more than a day of games and celebration. It emerged as a beautiful expression of unity, love, resilience, and the timeless joy of Christmas. By bringing together families, educators, and the community, the kindergarten reaffirmed its commitment to creating meaningful experiences that nurture hearts and minds, leaving behind cherished memories and a strengthened sense of togetherness long after the festivities ended.
