I’m currently pursuing Computer Science Engineering (CSE) at SRM Kattankulathur (Tamil Nadu). It’s been an exciting journey so far — the field is vast, and there’s always something new to explore, especially in areas like AI, cybersecurity, and development.
What are the latest professional trends in Computer Science?
Some of the top trends right now include generative AI, data science, cloud computing, ethical hacking, and blockchain development. There’s also a growing emphasis on building scalable systems and using AI responsibly in real-world applications.
How has AI redefined this field?
AI has transformed computer science into a creative and problem-solving playground. It’s not just about writing code anymore — it’s about teaching machines to think, respond, and even innovate. From personalised apps to advanced automation, AI is at the heart of most new tech.
How were your teachers at Apeejay School?
My school teachers were supportive and played a key role in shaping my foundation. They encouraged questions, pushed us to think beyond the textbook, and helped build the mindset needed to survive and thrive in college.
What’s your dream and ambition in life?
I want to build something impactful — a tech product, start-up, or platform that makes life easier or smarter. My aim is to be at the forefront of innovation, using technology to solve meaningful problems and maybe even start my venture someday.
Message for the school students.
Don’t rush to follow trends — focus on understanding the basics well. Build habits of consistency, curiosity, and self-learning. It’s okay to fail; just make sure you learn fast. And most importantly, enjoy the journey — school is one of the best phases of your life.
