In anticipation of the upcoming G20 Summit to be hosted by India in Septermber 2023, its representative at the United Nations (UN), Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj, has highlighted New Delhi’s approach to addressing global challenges. She noted that India’s stance is firmly rooted in the concept of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. This guiding principle not only influences its collaborative efforts within the UN but also shapes its perspective on the significant scientific milestone achieved through the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the lunar South Pole.
Ambassador Kamboj shared these insights during a briefing with UN reporters, underscoring the relevance of this principle as India prepares to welcome the G20 Summit in New Delhi.
She shared, “In a few days, India will host the G20 Summit in New Delhi… Our approach to global challenges has been rooted in the idea of ‘One Earth, One Family, One Future’. This same principle guides our collaboration within the United Nations and underscores our perspective on the remarkable scientific achievement of today’s moon landing.”
