‘Academic strength meets overall development at this school’

The school supports senior students in their growth and development through a balanced approach that integrates academics, co-curricular activities, and personal guidance. “We chose Apeejay School, Mahavir Marg, because of its long-standing reputation for academic excellence and strong value-based education. The school focuses not only on results but also on character building, discipline, and overall development, which we felt was important for our children’s growth,” shares Dr Nitin Puri, whose kids, Arsh and Sparsh, are studying in Class X here.

Read on to know how students are encouraged to participate in sports, arts, and clubs to explore talents and build confidence.

How are the teachers preparing your kids for the Boards ahead?

The teachers are systematic and supportive. They conduct regular revisions and one-on-one discussions to ensure every student understands their weak areas. They keep parents updated and motivate children to maintain a healthy study routine without pressure.

How does the school promote holistic education?

The school goes beyond academics — it encourages participation in sports, cultural events, debates, and social service activities. This balance between studies and extracurricular activities helps students build confidence, leadership, and life skills.

What are the core strength areas of this school?

I would say the biggest strengths are its dedicated faculty, strong academic foundation, and focus on overall personality development. The environment is safe, disciplined, and nurturing; ideal for a child’s balanced growth.

How do you handle your kids’ studies at home?

At home, we try to create a calm and positive study atmosphere. We monitor progress regularly, but give enough space for self-learning. We also stay in touch with teachers to align home study efforts with what’s being taught in school.

How is the parent-teacher interaction here?

The parent-teacher interaction is excellent. Communication is open and frequent through PTMs, class groups, and personal meetings when needed. Teachers are approachable and genuinely interested in each child’s progress, which makes us feel confident as parents.
